Lot's of lovely learning has been happening in the last couple of weeks in Bluebell Class... we have been looking at different 2D shapes in our Maths lessons, as well as counting and ordering numbers to 5. We have been reading and listening to our story the Three Little Pigs and re-enacting the story with props. We have had lots of sensory fun and have been working hard on sharing our space and resources.
Welcome Back! All of the pupils in attendance for the first week of term were so happy to be back, we quickly got back into our routine and they enjoyed their week. Our new topic is Traditional Tales, so watch out for lots of pictures that show us exploring different stories in different ways!
This week we have had lots of fun looking at the colour 'yellow'. WE have also enjoyed some really wonderful Instrumental Sounds sessions in Phonics, listening to instruments we have never heard before! All of the pupils have had a wonderful week of learning
Another busy week in Bluebell Class! We have worked on the understanding the colour 'red' and enjoyed lots of different activities centred around it. We have loved making our own mini guitar and drums in Phonics and loved a fantastic PE session with Sycamore Class!
What a lovely week we have had in Bluebell Class... we have continued our work on 'colour', looking at rainbows and making our own! We have enjoyed lots of time outside and have carried on working on our understanding of using a workstation to improve our independence. The staff in Bluebell are very proud of everyone this week!
Our first week back has seen us looking at our new topic - Colour. We have been working hard on learning how to use an independent workstations and loved starting our Phonics, looking at Environmental and Instrumental sounds
Our last week of this half term has seen us do some exciting things! We have had our PTA Halloween party, a music specialist come in and deliver a wonderful music session which all of the pupils loved, we've made more Halloween crafts, explored pumpkins, worked on our independence skills across different sessions and got messy!!

This week we have introduced a new book - FunnyBones and started to look at Halloween. WE have explored lots of different sensory resources linked to this and the pupils have loved it! We havehad lots of fun out in our amazing new playground as well - our sand pits have been delivered and also our fantastic stepping stones! These are both brilliant additions to the already wonderful play spaces we have and serve as fantastic sensory tools as well as open ended play opportunities.
