Waterloo Primary School is proud to be part of Mersey View Learning Trust. Governance at Waterloo forms part of the Trust’s wider governance structure, with the Trust Board retaining overall accountability for the school.

Our Local Governing Body provides important local oversight and helps ensure that Waterloo continues to serve its children, families and community effectively. Governors know the school well, support its strategic development and provide appropriate challenge to school leaders.

Working alongside the Headteacher and the Trust, governors monitor the school’s priorities, educational standards, safeguarding, inclusion, pupil wellbeing and the use of resources. They help to ensure that the school remains focused on its vision and that every child is given the opportunity to succeed.

The Chair of Governors at our school is Mrs. S. Robinson. She can be contacted via the School Office.
