At Waterloo, enrichment is an important part of our personal development offer. We want every child to discover new interests, develop their talents and enjoy experiences beyond the classroom.

We aim to provide a varied programme spanning sport, culture, creativity, practical skills and, most importantly, enjoyment. Taking part in clubs helps children to build confidence, teamwork, resilience and independence. It also gives them opportunities to form new friendships, experience success and find something they truly enjoy.

We are committed to making our enrichment offer inclusive and accessible. Our clubs are for all children, including those with SEND and those who attend our specialist provision. We will make reasonable adjustments and provide appropriate support so that every child can participate meaningfully.

We are currently working to expand our programme, with activities under consideration including:

• Chess
• Fencing
• Judo
• Football and sports coaching delivered by Marine Football Club first-team coaches
• Multi-sports
• Musical theatre
• Choir
