Mid Year Reports
Dear Parents,
As you will have seen from Mrs Baldwin's end of term letter, reports will be being emailed to you over the forthcoming weeks. They will come out a class at a time, so sibling reports will come separately.
Please bear with me, as I'm sure that you can appreciate that this is a big task when emailing each parent individually. If we do not have an email on file for you, or the one that we have doesn't work, then we will send a paper copy. However it is preferable for you to check the email address that you have provided us with to ensure that it is accurate and up to date and if you haven't already provided us with one, then please do so by contacting or emailing the school office at admin.waterloo@schools.sefton.gov.uk
Reception reports have already been sent to all contacts with accurate email addresses.
Stay safe and well and enjoy the Easter Break,
Mrs Maciver
We will be delivering free food parcels on Monday March 30th for those families whose children are entitled to Free School Meals and have requested support. Alternatively if you are able to safely collect from school please let the office know.
Thank You
If your child qualifies for Free School Meals we will be providing a packed lunch for them if required. You will be contacted by telephone and by pushapp this week. We are currently unable to deliver but packed lunches are available to collect at the school entrance only if you are able to safely leave your house, are not self isolating and can practise social distancing. This is a rapidly changing situation and changes daily. Please check the website frequently and download the school parentapp to receive messages and updates.
Homework will be uploaded regularly on the website and if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact the office.
Thank You.
Mrs Owens Office Manager
A letter was sent home with children on Friday 20th March regarding the closure of school and arrangements for the children of key workers and children with EHCP's.
If you are a key worker as highlighted on the Government's list and you want your child to be educated due to lack of childcare then you must complete the form attached to the letter and bring this to school on Monday March 23rd with your child.
Children who will not be in school have had packs sent home and teachers are updating the website weekly with work they can do at home. This can be found in the Curriculum and Year Group section of the website.
If you need any further information please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Thank You to all our parents/carers and children for your amazing support during this very difficult time.

·staff, young people and children should stay at home if they are unwell with a new, continuous cough or a high temperature to avoid spreading infection to others. Otherwise they should attend education or work as normal ·if staff, young people or children become unwell on site with a new, continuous cough or a high temperature they should be sent home ·clean and disinfect regularly touched objects and surfaces more often than usual using your standard cleaning products ·supervise young children to ensure they wash their hands for 20 seconds more often than usual with soap and water or hand sanitiser and catch coughs and sneezes in tissues |
Current advice remains in place: no education or children’s social care setting should close in response to a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case unless advised to do so by Public Health England.
The Chief Medical Officer has advised that the impact of closing schools on both children’s education and on the workforce would be substantial, but the benefit to public health may not be. Decisions on future advice to education or children’s social care settings will be taken based on the latest and best scientific evidence, which at this stage suggests children are a lower risk group.
The most important thing individuals can do to protect themselves is to wash their hands more often, for at least 20 seconds, with soap and water. Public Health England recommends that in addition to handwashing before eating, and after coughing and sneezing, everyone should also wash hands after using toilets and travelling on public transport.
