Due to the staggered lunchtimes in school we have had to limit the choices available to children in order to ensure all children receive lunch in an appropriate socially distanced manner. Children in Reception and Bases will choose their lunches in the morning and all other year groups will choose in the canteen. There will be no Deli available for the forseeable future.
Please see amended menu above.
As of w/c 21st September we will be in Week 2 of the Menu.
In addition, due to the staggered times we have also requested that an additional healthy snack be sent in with your child incase they feel hungry, as there is a longer time in between sittings due to the staggering of the lunches. Reception children receive free fruit and vegetable snacks and under 5's receive free milk.
Toast is available in school for £1 per week please send this in with your child at the start of the week.
Our school dinners are provided by Sefton catering service and are prepared in our own kitchen.
Menus are planned to meet government food based standards. Healthy eating is a key priority within our school and this is reflected in our dinner menus. Fresh vegetables, salad and fruit are available on a daily basis.
If your child is vegetarian, has allergies or food intolerances or has any other special dietary requirement this can be catered for. Please call the school office to let us know.
As part of the universal infant free school meals scheme, we are able to offer free school meals for all infant (Reception, Y1 and Y2) children.
Parents are strongly encouraged to apply for free school meals via Sefton Council.Further information is available on this ink:
